I am Diana Simpson, founder of Blooming Families, providing online therapy in the United Kingdom. I am registered with the Information Commissioner's Office, registration number ZB277476.

Information I may collect

I may collect personal data including your name, contact details, emergency contact information, relevant personal history and session notes. This may include special-category information relating to your emotional and mental wellbeing.

How your information is used

Your information is used to provide therapy services, communicate with you, maintain accurate and ethical records, manage appointments and meet professional or legal obligations.

Legal basis

Information may be processed to fulfil a contract with you, for legitimate interests and, where required for special-category information, with your explicit consent or another lawful condition under data-protection law.

Confidentiality and sharing

Sessions are confidential, except where there is a risk of harm, a safeguarding concern or a legal obligation. Information will not otherwise be shared without your consent. Material discussed in professional supervision is anonymised wherever practicable.

Storage and retention

Information is stored securely using password-protected systems and/or locked storage. Records are normally retained for seven years after your last session, or longer where legally required, and are then securely destroyed.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may ask to access, correct, restrict or erase your personal information, or object to its use. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.

This website and booking

This website does not contain an enquiry form. If you choose the booking link, you will visit Cal.com, which processes information under its own privacy terms.
