In our first session, we will set boundaries to create a safe space for all parties to express themselves comfortably. Each participant will state their needs to feel secure within the therapeutic setting and outline their goals. Everyone will contribute to creating the customised action plan. At each session, we will focus on one goal per week, with homework to practice and reinforce what has been discussed.
Session Structure
Sessions are conducted weekly over 12 weeks to allow time for gaining self-awareness, learning, and practicing new skills. There will be a midway review at the sixth week to assess progress and provide feedback. We will collaboratively work on strengthening skills and implementing strategies to support growth. Each session will be tailored to your specific needs, ensuring a balance between structured guidance and open communication.
Expectations and Commitment
The process is most effective when all participants are actively engaged, attend sessions consistently, and are willing to participate to achieve transformation. A contract will be required to agree on the collaboration as it pertains to my profession as an MBACP accreditation registered psychotherapist.
